Q: Can I put fake experience in my resume?
A:
What you include in your resume is your business.
Therefore, what I'm going to tell you about is 'my' policy and belief system.
As a matter of policy, I don't put fake experience in my resume.
Nor do I put anyone else's experience in my resume.
Nor do I put anyone else's company names in my resume.
Why?
Because I believe it'd be unwise for me to put any fake experience in my resume.
Because I believe putting fake experience in my resume would be unprofessional and unethical.
And also because it would hurt my career, and I would be found out.
I would be found out,
because in this business I get interviewed by highly skilled software managers, engineers, testers, specialists and bona fide experts who can tell,
if I lack the expertise and experience in any of their area of specialty.
Also because I work in the company of highly skilled software engineers and testers who are able to tell right away,
if I lack the needed expertise or experience.
